Class Descriptions

Power Yoga classes are a challenging class that combines the best of Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga and Anusara yoga. Classes are normally conducted in a warm environment; expect to sweat. Students move and transition from posture (asana) to posture in the wonderful moving meditation sequencing the breath and the body.

All Levels Yoga classes are appropriate for anyone that can handle an adult style class, teens welcome. The instructor will do their best to accommodate the needs of the group. Classes are in the Hatha style- traditional, moving, and meditative.

Gentle Yoga classes are appropriate for anyone that cannot go into a regular adult yoga class, including prenatal, postnatal, post surgical, injury, and seniors. Please join us for a gentle restorative class with less stress on the mind and body.

Tween/Teen yoga classes are appropriate for ages 10 - 16. We weave the best of children's classes with adult class elements to create a fun, interactive, and stress-free class.

Children's yoga classes are appropriate for ages 3 - 11. We weave yoga postures, storytelling, music, and meditation into a fun, interactive class.

Toddler Yoga (parent optional) classes are appropriate for children from walking until age 4. Parents are invited to join us but as their child progresses they are invited to fade to the back eventually leaving their child in our care during class time. Age approporiate activities weave yoga postures, storytelling, music, games and meditation into a fun, interactive class.

Parent & Me classes are appropriate for a child up walking with a parent. Part of these classes will focus on helping the parent maintain a personal yoga practice with small children and part will focus on the child's yoga practice, thus providing a unique opportunity for parent and child to bond.

Family yoga classes are appropriate for all that can walk and maintain attention. Combining the best elements of children's and adult classes into a fusion of family fun.

Sound Healing classes The focus will be on using non-pitched instruments and vocal sound for healing and health. Participant do not need to be singers. Tuning forks, gongs, bowls etc may be used.
